Synopsis/Details
Two young researchers named JACK and SARAH share a cramped Quonset hut on a remote and frozen planet. Their stated mission is a search for extraterrestrial life. To date, they haven't found any new life forms and their desperately needed re-supply is long overdue...But things are about to go from bad to worse. The Other White Meat asks, "Why do monsters always have to be so big?" This story started its life as the unassuming (8) page script posted here, but has since morphed into a two part, novella length, ebook written in not-so-wordy prose. In its entirety, it's a BIG story, an epic Space Opera.

The Writer: John Hunter

My barefoot childhood was spent in the coastal lowcountry of South Georgia. In this semirural version of Camelot, storytelling was an innocent pastime enjoyed by members of my family and those around me. So, it seems fair to say, my storytelling is likely a product of both nature and nuture. After graduation from college, I served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Latin America. I later worked in construction management, big ticket sales, commercial graphics, and as a packaging design consultant. I now live in Central Florida and enjoy telling a wide variety of slightly dark and quirky stories with a dash of humor. My dystopian horror Baby Soup won the 2013 Florida Independent Filmmakers… Go to bio
