Synopsis/Details
When a difficult and entitled young woman goes missing during a storm at sea, there is a general sigh of relief onboard the small boutique cruise liner owned by her father. But lost at sea is not the end of her story, it is merely the beginning. After floating around in the Caribbean for several days, she and her little emotional support dog wash ashore on a small deserted tropical island called Love Key. It is here her life begins to change - The remote island and a mysterious young man she finds there seem to have a magical transformative effect on her. SPOILER ALERT: This is essentially a Hallmark type love story with a hopeful ending, but there are some pretty hard bumps and a major relapse along the way. So get some popcorn, sit back, relax and enjoy this almost (un)believable feel good story about how a toxic young lady ultimately finds a better version of herself. I wrote this with a one hour MOW in mind, but more pixels could be added if required.

The Writer: John Hunter

My barefoot childhood was spent in the coastal lowcountry of South Georgia. In this semirural version of Camelot, storytelling was an innocent pastime enjoyed by members of my family and those around me. So, it seems fair to say, my storytelling is likely a product of both nature and nuture. After graduation from college, I served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Latin America. I later worked in construction management, big ticket sales, commercial graphics, and as a packaging design consultant. I now live in Central Florida and enjoy telling a wide variety of slightly dark and quirky stories with a dash of humor.
