Synopsis/Details
Billie Bad Ass is a young, attractive and slightly built drag queen. He loves to play dress up, dance and entertain, but there are those bills to pay...What to do, what to do? In this short, we will explore some of the possibilities...So buckle up buttercup and here we go! This (7) page short contains some interesting elements. Now edited to include Muay Thai pre-fight dance routine. With wigs, costumes, drag, dance, fight scenes and guns in mind, I'd rate Billie Bad Ass suitable only for a more advanced filmmaker with a budget to make it happen. TRUE CONFESSION: I should be ashamed of myself for writing such a difficult and expensive short, but I’m not. I really love these characters and storyline. In fact, I am sorely tempted to turn this one into a feature length indie.

The Writer: John Hunter

My barefoot childhood was spent in the coastal lowcountry of South Georgia. In this semirural version of Camelot, storytelling was an innocent pastime enjoyed by members of my family and those around me. So, it seems fair to say, my storytelling is most likely a product of both nature and nuture. After graduation from college, I served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Latin America. I later worked in construction management, big ticket sales, commercial graphics, and as a packaging design consultant. I now live in Central Florida and enjoy telling a wide variety of slightly dark and quirky stories with a dash of humor. My dystopian horror Baby Soup won the 2013 Florida Independent Filmmakers… Go to bio
