Synopsis/Details
"Milk Men" is cut from the same cinematic cloth as the classics "Paper Moon" and "The Goonies." In "Milk Men," Glenn Buckley's dreams come true when he wins Skimmer Dairies' contest to name a sidekick for their public ambassador, Milk Man. Glenn's winning entry of Calcium Boy is announced, and in a whirlwind of excitement, he's whisked off to Skimmer Dairies headquarters to start his new adventure. It's a dream come true for the eleven-year-old. Upon arriving at Skimmer Dairies, young Buckley is measured for his Calcium Boy costume before finally meeting with Gerald Pipes, Milk Man's alter-ego. However, with his bright red hair and stubbly whiskers, Pipes hardly looks the role. Pipes is soon up and about, and after shaving with a mug and brush using stale beer to mix the suds, Milk Man and Calcium Boy are on their way throughout the city promoting Skimmer Dairies milk. Sales skyrocket thanks to Milk Man and Calcium Boy, a fact which rapidly gains the unwelcome attention of the owner of the Fein & Dandy Candy Company. Little does Glenn know that Chewie Louie Fein and the remaining four members of the city's Candy Syndicate lose a sale for every new Skimmer Dairies customer he brings in. This realization leads to a sinister plot that could permanently eliminate Milk Man and Calcium Boy. Hiring a couple of hard cases named Crunch and Jawbreaker to take care of their competition, Chewie Louie and his pals quickly discover that Milk Man and Calcium Boy are more than worthy opponents. Ultimately, it takes everything within Milk Man and Calcium Boy's power, not to mention the skills of a mysterious cow named Low Fat, to bring the fight to Fein & Dandy's doorstep. Will good nutrition for the city's citizens be lost forever? Not with Skimmer Dairies' heroes Milk Man and Calcium Boy on the job.
