Synopsis/Details
In a world that co-exists with characters from classic fairy tales, Officer Glen Marcus is called upon to investigate the murders of the Three Little Pigs.
Venturing into territory alongside the Fairy Trail brings its complications and challenges. None of our technology works in theirs, which means Officer Marcus must conduct his investigation unarmed, with no way to call for backup.
A variety of creatures and individuals assist Marcus on this unusual case, including Anthony, a fire-breathing dragon restricted to flying five miles or less per day to satisfy the terms of his Learner's Permit, and Cottonbutt, a rabbit with an attitude who will go above and beyond to prove herself an able member of Marcus' team.
With three homicides on his plate, as the investigation progresses, Marcus soon adds two more victims to the list with the deaths of 2/3 of the Three Bears, Mama Bear, and Papa Bear, both expiring after consuming bowls of poisoned porridge. Baby Bear, their son, is nowhere to be found.
After a failed attempt on his own life is made, Marcus seeks shelter for the night at the run-down home of Snow White, who reveals the truth behind the myth: her life has been anything but happily ever after.
Her house is a dump. She still lives with the Seven Dwarves, all now well past the age of retirement, plus she hasn't seen her handsome Prince in years.
Snow White's only consolation for her miserable life is her beautiful daughter Sleet, an unexpected bonus of her long-ago affair with the Prince.
With clues in the case increasingly pointing to Fairy Trail's largest landowners, Hansel & Gretel, being involved in the murders, Marcus and his associates set off for the city where the famous brother and sister can be found. Sleet White joins the group for this leg of their journey.
Once in the city, Marcus and his team set into motion a confrontation with Hansel & Gretel that tests the courage of everyone involved in bringing justice to those behind the deaths along the Fairy Trail.
