Living in Oblivion

"Swan Nguyen, a 17-year-old student, experiences a transformative inheritance of $18 million from her aunt in Vietnam. Leveraging this windfall, she acquires the dilapidated nursing home where she is employed, embarking on an ambitious project to revitalize it into a vibrant cultural hub in Los Angeles, focusing on art, music, and fashion. The facility's diverse elderly residents, particularly those with varied musical preferences, are challenged to navigate their shared living spaces, notably the communal music appreciation room. Amidst the pressures of managing her new venture and the residual anxieties of high school, Swan experiences recurring visions of Brian Setzer. She forms a strategic alliance with Siddharth Kumar, a gifted mathematics student and aspiring photographer, who assists her in the operational aspects of the business. Unbeknownst to each other, both harbor mutual romantic feelings.
