Happiness is a Hot Dog Bun Animation Family Short 13 pages Athena Vogel and her Mother, Aleksandra are moving again. This time it’s to Iowa. Aleksandra is doing the best she can as a single Mom. Athena’s Dad left them when she was three. Now it’s just Aleksandra, Athena, and George. George is their dependable 1966 Ford pickup truck. They are renting a tiny guest house in Iowa. When they arrive in the middle of the night, they are tired and hungry. To their excitement, the last renters left four hot dog buns behind. Grateful for the soft fluffy bread they eat and go to sleep in sleeping bags on the floor. Athena starts to dream. It is then that the adventure begins. In one magical night, Athena travels the world. She sees everything is made out of hot dog buns including the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. On her travels, she meets some interesting characters like Freddie, the Australian octopus, and Marmalade, the penguin from Antarctica. When she wakes up, she tells her Mom about her adventures. George is waiting in the driveway, ready to drive them to breakfast. The one thing she knows is that everything will be ok.
