Synopsis/Details
As Beverly gets ready to leave for rehearsal her boyfriend, Sam, is supportive about the anxiety that “something is missing” in the upcoming dance production. In a brisk pace, she passes by Joe, a young guy with a guitar who struggles to walk. His condition moves Beverly with empathy, which inspires a poetic inner dialogue as she slowly walks forward. These images compel her to sit in a park to write them down. While she intensely writes, Joe appears nearby. After introductions, they have a creative exchange about her choreography and his music which includes writing with performing. Beverly gives Joe her contact information, and then leaves. As she walks more poetic words inspire which continue into the theater to watch the rehearsal in progress. A few weeks later, a modern dance production is in progress with a full enthusiastic audience. Beverly with Sam watch the show that includes live music with a focus on Joe playing the guitar.
