Synopsis/Details
Jessica is an author who is in the middle of writing her latest novel; a horror story entitled: 'The House of Alex'. Which sees a young man named Alex, as he finds himself trapped in his own house with an unseen monster. But Jessica is struggling to think of a way to continue the story, and her publishers are expecting her to send them some preview chapters by the end of the week. After much procrastinating, she is visited by Alex, the protagonist of her book. He's come to help her continue his story, as the two start brain storming ideas on how to finish the scene where Alex faces the books antagonist: a horned demon known only as The Beast. Jessica pitches several ideas of ending the scene, all in a rushed way to wrap the narrative as quick as possible. However, Alex, intent on giving his story a satisfying ending for the reader, criticises her ideas. After much frustration and back and forth idea generating, the two finally agree upon a suitable ending, where Alex manages to escape The Beast. However, after the frustration he caused her, Jessica begins to write a new chapter the following morning; where The Beast attacks Alex and eats him alive, killing him off completely. And so, with the previous chapter finished, Jessica decides to carry writing the book, but with a completely new and much less irritating protagonist.
