Synopsis/Details
George Woods welcomes death, for he is exhausted by life after the long, lonely years of persevering after the death of his wife, Sheila.
Little does he realise, that as he speaks with Epiphany Becket, who is condemned by Matthew Hopkins, that he understands his predicament is less precarious than Epiphany's impending death.
The silver shilling, Sheila discovered when they were on their honeymoon in Mistley, is what allows Epiphany to communicate with George in the present day.
