Synopsis/Details

In Victorian Derbyshire, strange events are occurring as the wayfarer awakens after 12 million years of hibernation.
Amelia, a small child, lies dying in the pauper ward of the workhouse.
Mutilated by her mother, Amelia perceives visions others can not.
The wayfarer always spoke to her during her despair. He, she believes, is as lonely as she is.
She is never afeared as he tells her how he destroyed the world because of man's indolence.
Now, the world is to begin afresh, as they converse in the darkness of his thoughts.
The wayfarer's last benevolent act is to release Amelia from her plight so she has no remembrance of who she once was.

The screenplays have been praised for their originality and ambiguity, with the story being left to the discretion of the reader to draw their own conclusion. This will be seen in the follow up to "The Brotherhood of Shadows": "Veils… Go to bio
