Synopsis/Details

The revilled sin-eater was particular to Wales, where an outcast of a village would be paid to bear the sins of the deceased by eating a
cake that was placed on the deceased's chest.
Burge, a hunchback, is the sin-eater of his village. His life unravels when he senses the land around his farm become sentient.
He must grapple with all events that have taken place on the farm to understand his punishment.
Little by little, he starts to remember his previous life and must then face his nemesis, Rapha, who has re-emerged from his forced hibernation of a thousand years previous from his forced imprisonment on the enclosure of the farmland.

Guilt, faith, and eternal consequences are at stake for both.

To create original stories has been my primary aim and I am always fascinated when the premise alters during writing and takes an unexpected turn. This usually results in a better outcome.
