Synopsis/Details
Photogenic stewardess, Gina, is tasked to train Melina, known as Mel, a girl who prides herself on being a Lesbian, as she comes originally from the Greek island of Lesbos. The training goes well and the airline is so pleased with them, that they are both chosen to represent the image of the airline, as poster girls. Gina becomes known as the main face of the airline, with huge posters showing her beaming smile, but she is not having much success in her love life. She becomes depressed, and has to see a doctor, who prescribes her non-sedating anti- depressants. The tablets enhance her libido as a side effect and she is soon amorously flirting with Pete, a young handsome flight engineer. They have sex and become besotted with each other. They even think they are in love. Mel is happy for Gina with she tells all about her relationship with Pete, but Mel then discloses that she is actually a lesbian, a gay woman, and she thinks she is in love with Gina. Gina has to explore her sexuality and realizes that she is attracted to Mel and is bisexual. Gina and Mel then have sex. Gina tells Pete she is bisexual and is also in love with Mel, as well as being in love with him. He accepts this as the modern way of sexual relations, and is not jealous. Pete and Mel share Gina, who now considers herself so lucky, as she has her dream job and loves a man and a woman. What could go wrong, she muses. Then, there is a recession, the airline sector collapses, the airline folds, and everyone is fired. Pete, Gina and Mel have to pool their resources to buy a house. Pete and Mel continue to share Gina. All three are interviewed for television where they discuss their dismay and despair over being fired. Later, Gina wakes up one morning and Pete says the airline has been bought and they can have their jobs back, even their old uniforms. Gina thinks this might be a dream, but she finds her stewardess uniform in the wardrobe. She puts it on, but is still uncertain if this is a dream or reality. She says to herself, when she sees herself in the mirror, smartly dressed in her uniform, "I am the Poster Girl Stewardess".

The Writer: Peter Gartner

I wrote a few screenplays a while back, but now I have a place to submit them. At the moment I am painting in watermixable oils and have a gallery at FineArtAmerica. I am concentrating on art now, but if there is some interest in my screenplays, I could submit more. I start with "The Lightship". I have now posted some more. I want to create original scenarios with surprises for the audience. I do not want my scripts to be predictable. The unusual is always best. A script should be a journey. You don't know the destination, but you will enjoy the journey getting there. I like to explore the psychology of my characters, to give the story more depth. Also, there is now a link to my paintings… Go to bio
