LONG PROJECT DESCRIPTION / SYNOPSIS -The Foetus
Kate Hayley awakens after an illegal surgical intervention and is abandoned in the desert. She soon realizes that something has been placed inside her body — not a human foetus, but a conscious presence.
The entity communicates through sensation rather than language. It protects her, guides her, and slowly begins to influence reality itself. People who come into contact with Kate experience psychological fragmentation, memory loss, and loss of identity.
Kate’s journey leads her through deserted cities, collapsing communities, and distorted spaces where time and logic no longer function normally. The entity reveals that it was once removed from another body during an unethical medical experiment, and now seeks to complete its interrupted existence.
Kate understands she was never chosen to give birth.
She was chosen to open a door.
When the child is finally born as Nicole, the entity disappears — not as death, but as transformation. Nicole carries the memory of everything that came before her.
The world does not end.
It simply no longer belongs only to humans.
