Synopsis/Details

THE FARTING DRAGONS
Half-Hour Live-Action Comedy-Adventure Series (but could also be animated)

Yes, it's really called THE FARTING DRAGONS, which is EXACTLY why you should keep reading.

Set on the tree-lined streets of Pepper Pike, Ohio's east side — where a ragtag BMX kids' club discovers that the biggest threat to their neighborhood isn't the rival gang. It's the sitting mayor, who has quietly stolen $2.3 million in public funds earmarked for their skate park and funneled it into his own luxury condo development.

Part The Outsiders, part The Little Rascals, part Stranger Things — without the supernatural stuff, but with way more gas.

Our hero is Samantha 'Sam the Jam' Walsh — a 12-year-old BMX prodigy from Venice Beach who's grieving her late mother the only way she knows how: by shredding pavement in a city that doesn't understand her. She falls in with the Farting Dragons and their mirrored shades leader, Diesel, who is cool under pressure and absolutely terrified of jumping Devil's Ditch, which tells you everything.

Their crew includes Chain (self-appointed philosopher, incorrect about everything), Crash (every faceplant is 'research’), and Skidmark, who is convinced he's unsmellable at high speed. He’s not! Then there's Re-Pete, who involuntarily repeats the last thing anyone says. Re-Pete, who involuntarily repeats the last thing anyone says.

Season One builds from a neighborhood turf war with their leather-vested rivals, the Feroshus Savage Brutalers — yes, that spelling is intentional, no, they’re not open to feedback — into an unlikely alliance against a crooked City Hall. It culminates in 14 kids on BMX bikes executing a live-streamed rally that dismantles the mayor's corruption in real time, in front of five hundred people and three news vans... Proof that the best way to fight an unjust world is to make a lot of noise — preferably from your armpit!
