Synopsis/Details

“The Ether” is written along the lines of films such as “The Beekeeper” and “The Equalizer.” The story’s about a CIA agent named Victor, an efficient operator who’s managed to maintain a barricade between his family and black ops missions for years. For his next mission, Victor’s tasked with retrieving deadly military nanochips embedded with AI technology from a mysterious organization based in the same city as his family. Victor's mission spirals out of control when he learns that his wife has been cheating on him and his misery is further compounded when she runs away with their daughter. After the CIA assures him that his daughter will be found and returned to him when he successfully completes the mission, Victor manages to infiltrate the ring of dirty cops who are on the mysterious organization's payroll. Victor learns that the mysterious organization is a front for the ruthless Italian mafia. Torn between his family and his mission, Victor meets Ana and the two hit it off until he realizes that he executed her brother as part of his “initiation”. With time fast running out, will Victor manage to keep his new found love and successfully complete his mission.....?
