The Damned Next Door

A pesticide accident leaves three workers in Mexico poisoned in a field in Tijuana, Mexico, where they are dragged out of the field. As the other workers go and get help, the three men disappear. One of the poisoned workers, Herman, makes his way into a nightclub bathroom. He attacks, kills, and eats a club patron, a Caucasian man named Rob. As the poisoned Herman consumes Rob's flesh, Herman assimilates Rob's form and features. He takes Rob's clothes and places what's left of Rob in one of the bathroom stalls. He passes himself as Rob and leaves the nightclub for a hotel where Rob is staying. The following morning, the barkeep tells one of the security guards to get one of the patrons out of the bathroom, as he has been in there all night. The security guard opens the stall to find Rob's mangled corpse. Detective Ricky Montanez and his partner, Don Noble, investigate the bizarre murder. Meanwhile, Rob/Herman heads back to Los Angeles to Rob's house. Rob/Herman then heads to work at Astral Chemicals and 'meets' his assistant, Sherry. When Rob/Herman closes his office door, he discovers his 'whiteness' is wearing off. Afraid of losing his lovely house and well-paying job, his infection from the poisoning in the field takes over, and he attacks, kills, and eats Sherry. Another worker, Adora, witnesses blood splattered on Rob's office door. In a panic, she calls Montanez, who was her ex-boyfriend. Montanez also receives a call from his daughter, Dortea, about a strange incident at the hospital involving a patient that some field workers brought in. Montanez goes to the hospital to investigate. The patient looked infected with some strange infection. When Dortea tells Don to come into the room with the patient, the patient goes insane, trying to rip the restraints off his body. Montanez and Don received another call from the police station that they had picked up another man who bit and took a chunk out of a white tourist's arm. The conclusion was that these two men have been infected with something that made them hunger for white flesh. They headed up to Los Angeles and discovered that Rob/Herman had the same affliction as the men in Mexico and that Rob/Herman had something to do with their murder. As the infection continues to spread, Montanez, Noble, Adora, and Dortea realize that the company Astral Chemicals, Adora's employer, is responsible for the infected people as they are locked in a battle to stop the spread of a discovered virus within the insecticide along with the dark forces who are behind the infected hordes.
