Marcos Guerra survives a car crash that leaves his wife, Eva, in an irreversible coma. At the hospital, SYNNOIA uses his biometric and behavioural data to predict that grief will eventually destroy him. The company offers him an experimental alternative: transferring Eva’s consciousness into a capsule housed inside his body.

The procedure works, but not as Marcos imagined. Eva awakens without a body of her own. She can see, hear and feel only through Marcos, while a small case controls when they can communicate. Whenever Marcos closes it, Eva does not fall asleep; she remains fully conscious in absolute isolation, with no sense of time.

Convinced that he has saved the woman he loves, Marcos attempts to rebuild their life. For Eva, however, survival has become captivity. With no privacy, independence or ability to refuse, she begins to question whether Marcos acted out of love or out of fear of abandonment.

When someone from their past returns and exposes fractures in their marriage, their connection becomes increasingly unstable. Marcos must confront the difference between preserving a consciousness and preserving a person, and decide whether love can exist when only one partner remains free to choose.
