Synopsis/Details
The show is about a group of office based secret service agents. Their work life is changed with the arrival of a new captain. Despite the new arrival, not much actual secret service work gets done. They spend most of their days wasting time, playing games and spying on each other. Any excuse not to work. The Pilot Revoked agent James is desperate to learn the meaning of the new captain’s necktie. While thoroughly researching it, Chris makes fun of James’ feminine dress sense and Captain Quentin makes the most of his new office and status. The characters Chris is a very good agent but is held back due to his practical jokes against colleague James. He’s a health freak but very messy. James is the opposite of Chris; very neat and tidy and the brunt of the office jokes. He hides his junk food obsession from his girlfriend. Captain Quentin is a very private man, spending a lot of time talking to himself inside his head. He’s a man of routine and a great delegator; leaving himself with little to do. Also in the show is Fran, a good-looking agent with a secret obsession with the Twilight books/movies, Timothy who spends a lot of time in the office wanting to be an agent and Bridget; James’ girlfriend who turns up unannounced to embarrass him. The Style Think the style of The Office and Brooklyn Nine-Nine mixed with the comedy of Seinfeld. Like The Office, these agents will spend their time winding away the working day with pointless activities and laziness rather than working. The comedy will heavily focus on the agents trying to make fun of each other and their competitiveness. There will be lots of talk about secret service work and the cases they have failed to solve. It will also focus on struggles with day-to-day life and relationships. More often than not these will be centred around the office rather than outside of work.

The Writer: Mike Whittaker

I am a keen screenwriter from the UK. I studied Film Making and Digital Editing at The New York Film Academy in Los Angeles and have a BSc degree in Digital Media. I have written a number of TV pilots and am working on some feature film scripts as well. My main focus has been comedy and drama for TV but I have a variety of other genres also in development. Most recently I wrote a US style sit com then produced a table read filming of the pilot. It went very well and I am very happy with how it cut together. It would be great to go a step further and film the full pilot as I'm very proud of the project and believe it has potential. Go to bio
