Synopsis/Details
Problem Child revolves around a teenager, who must execute Lucifer’s assignments to get his biggest desire fulfilled. Jeff is a good-hearted 16-year-old, who recently began behaving like a problem child. Most recently he beat up a clergy member, leaving his mother shocked. He’s totally out of his element and absolutely helpless to do anything about it. Controlled by the devil himself, the teenager continues to steal his mom’s jewelry just to buy a class A drug. Tormented by this situation he demands Lucifer to grant him his wish. The prince of darkness insists on Jeff carrying out one last task: Killing a demon. The demon Lucifer is talking about inhabits a member of Jeff’s family and so he finds himself sitting in front of his beloved grandma the next day. Struggling to keep cool, he tries to tease out the truth about her. The situation escalates and he finds himself stabbing the old woman in the chest. Luckily for Jeff it turns out his grandma indeed serves as a shell for a demon. The demon tries to warn Jeff not to end his life and promises Jeff that Lucifer will ultimately not fulfill Jeff’s biggest desire. Filled with adrenalin Jeff doesn’t want to listen and kills the demon. Next morning it seems that Jeff’s dream came true. However it came with the price of a devilish twist.
