In the summer of 1983, a nameless student of German falls for the beguiling nature of the unreal and beautiful Odette.
The young woman, whose origins and identity are unknown, intoxicates men. The two quickly become a couple. But what begins as an ordinary love story develops into a nightmare of dependency, erotic excesses and self-destruction.
Odette carries a dark secret that reaches far into her past. By the time the student uncovers it, it is already too late.
