Miami, 2030, a mysterious pandemic has devastated the world, humans and animals have transformed into violent and mindless creatures, known as "alters". In a deserted and decaying Miami, the vagabond Clark survives thanks to his cunning and his singular companion, Jericho, a land turtle who shares with him the chaos of post-apocalyptic life. Clark navigates the abandoned streets with ingenious strategies: he uses traps and diversions to escape the altered and find supplies, but as he survives, he witnesses the madness and destruction that has swept the world. His adventures lead him to discover that not all living beings have been affected by the pandemic: Jericho and some rare creatures seem immune, fueling the mystery of the origin of the contagion. When Clark stumbles upon a hidden laboratory, he discovers a seemingly healthy man, kept in a state of stasis. However, the man awakens, transforming into a terrifying creature, forcing Clark to take drastic measures and question whether there is a scientific explanation behind the apocalypse. As the sun sets over Miami in violent colors, Clark finds himself surrounded by hordes of altered people. But the real threat may not be the one stalking him: a mysterious man in a white coat watches from afar, hinting that there is an even more disturbing secret behind the disaster.
