Synopsis/Details

ACT ONE

Margaret Minor appears to be the perfect 1950s suburban housewife, meticulously caring for her husband, Arthur, and their teenage children, Miles and Millie, inside an immaculate, technology-filled smart home. Beneath the carefully constructed domestic routine, however, Margaret is living behind a false identity. Her peaceful life shatters when two Ministry operatives arrive at her front door with a chilling message: "It's time." Forced to defend herself, Margaret kills both agents, exposing the deadly skills she has hidden for twenty years. As additional Ministry forces close in, she contacts Henri, a veteran CIA cleaner, for help. Before she can escape, her children unexpectedly return home, forcing Margaret to reveal the truth by defending them from an armed assault inside their own house. She abandons the illusion of being merely a housewife and chooses to wage war to protect her family.

ACT TWO

The family flees in Miles' restored 1972 Chevy Malibu while the Ministry weaponizes modern infrastructure against them, using hacked vehicles, surveillance systems, financial networks, and digital technology to hunt them across the city. Margaret rescues Arthur from an elaborate trap at a shipping terminal, but the Ministry frames her as a domestic terrorist, turning law enforcement and public systems against the family. Henri joins them as they attempt to expose the Ministry by infiltrating a hidden command center disguised as a municipal data facility. Although they recover part of the evidence, they discover the Ministry has already compromised police systems, traffic controls, surveillance networks, and public infrastructure. Their escape leaves Henri seriously wounded and the family hiding beneath an industrial overpass. There, Margaret abandons the fantasy that domestic perfection can protect the people she loves. She accepts that she is both a devoted mother and a lethal operative. Together, the family forms a unified team and prepares for one final assault.

ACT THREE

The family crashes the Malibu through the glass façade of the Ministry's downtown mainframe facility, launching a desperate assault on the organization's command center. While Arthur manually bypasses the secure network and Miles and Millie hold off Ministry operatives, Margaret confronts the regional handler in a brutal hand-to-hand battle. As the facility enters a self-destruct sequence, Margaret embraces every part of her identity, defeating the handler and activating the physical override before Arthur completes the data upload. The Ministry's covert domestic surveillance network is broadcast worldwide, exposing its operations and collapsing its control over the digital infrastructure. One year later, the Minor family has rebuilt their quiet suburban life. Margaret still wears her beloved vintage dresses, but no longer as a disguise. She lives openly as the woman she truly is—a loving wife, devoted mother, and fearless protector. Their ordinary life has returned, not because it is an illusion, but because they fought together to earn it.
