Synopsis/Details
LEIA ORGANA, 17, is the adopted daughter of BAIL & BREHA ORGANA, rulers of the planet Alderaan.
A strange looking female reaches out to Leia in her dreams, but these dreams turn out to be visions created by the Force - a powerful energy field that surrounds all living things in the universe. This female is AHSOKA TANO - a Jedi knight on the run from her former master, the evil Sith Lord Darth Vader, who is determined to track her down and kill her.
Leia can see Ahsoka because Leia too has Jedi powers, which means that Darth Vader will hunt her as well.
Ahsoka knows that Leia could be the key to defeating the evil Galactic Empire and there's only one person alive in the galaxy who can protect her - Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Ahsoka has vital information which will guide the rebels to the discovery of a fearsome super weapon which can destroy whole planets. She passes this on to Leia so that Leia can complete the mission.
Ahsoka and Leia must escape from Alderaan and fight-off pursuing Imperial TIE fighters to reach the planet of Tatooine and then find Obi-Wan, but Darth Vader is soon in pursuit.
Ahsoka sacrifices herself so that Obi-wan can escape with Leia. An epic lightsabre battle between Ahsoka and Darth Vader allows Obi-Wan to take Leia to the rebel base on Dantooine, where she is reunited with her adopted father.
Obi-Wan tells her the truth about her real father and her hidden brother, Luke Skywalker. He convinces Leia that her place is as a leader of the rebellion and not as a Jedi knight.
The Rebels on Dantooine are in disarray. The factions cannot unite and many are close to surrendering to the Emperor.
Leia convinces them that there is hope. She manages to unite them for the struggle that will come.
Leia knows that her force powers will draw the Sith like a magnet so she asks Obi-Wan to erase her mind of all memories regarding her connection to the Force, her brother, Luke Skywalker and her father, Darth Vader.
Leia returns to Alderaan where she becomes a Galactic Senator and Rebel spy - waiting for the day the Rebellion can finally take-on the Empire.
