Synopsis/Details
VICTORIA, a former Mexican cop on the run for executing corrupt officers, drifts into the hostile backwoods town of Carter, West Virginia. In a roadside diner, she intervenes to protect MELISSA, a Black waitress being harassed. A friendship blossoms — but Victoria remains guarded, keeping her past under lock and key.
Days later, THREE CRUEL CRIMINALS hold the diner patrons hostage to livestream their torture for the dark web. When they demand a volunteer, Victoria steps forward to take control. All hell breaks loose: One criminal dies. A patron is murdered. Victoria is framed as the hostage-taker just as the police arrive.
With her violent past exposed and the law closing in, she fights to protect the hostage and earn DETECTIVE ISAACSON’s trust. When Melissa stays behind to help her fight back, she takes a bullet. During a rooftop duel that’s streamed to the world, Victoria risks everything to take down the last gunman. With this, Victoria clears her name, owns her past, and leaves town with Melissa, not as fugitives, but as survivors, fully free.
