Synopsis/Details
A youngish blogger is somewhat a loser. His cousin sets him up on a blind date that goes poorly. During the date, he is inexplicably bit by a venomous snake and wakes up to discover that he's been abducted by space aliens who want him to blog. Apparently, the world ended hundreds of years ago and - as explained to him by the alien representative (who presents as a kindly old lady) - if he blogs well enough, the aliens may be able to restore other humans to keep him company. Meanwhile, an amoral CEO has come up with a plan to generate high quality content from writers for free by using underground bunkers and mind-controlling drugs. The plan works and the CEO becomes a celebrated thought-leader and expands from a website into movies and TV. Adventure and comedy ensues.
