Synopsis/Details
Twenty years ago, after a failed secret mission in Iraq, marine JIMMY CONRAD was captured and held as a prisoner of war. Classified as K.I.A, his family buried their loving father and husband. Now, escaped from his captures, Jimmy makes the daunting trek back to America, alive yet still a destitute and forgotten soldier.
Having nothing left to his name but a terminal heart condition, he seeks out his only daughter, MICHELLE, to make amends for not being a part of her life. He returns to his unrecognizable hometown of Liberty City.
The city is now infested with drugs and violence and his daughter has had to turn to the streets to survive. She is soon brutally murdered at the hands of her pimp and self-proclaimed king of the city, KHARI, whom she had been stealing from in hopes of starting a better life.
Jimmy, vengeful and looking for answers, seeks help from those brave enough to contribute. And with a drug-abusing cousin, his daughter's transsexual former madam and a childhood friend, turned detective, by his side, he is determined to dig up as much intelligence on his enemies as possible.
His drive for vengeance is pushed ten-fold when he learns that his young grandson, MARCUS, has been taken by Khari's thugs to entice a final confrontation. A move they will soon regret as even with the debilitating heart ailment dangling him on the edge of life, nothing will stop this merciless former soldier until he finds his grandson safe and the hand directly responsible for his daughter’s death; the 7-foot tall, 300-pound beast and bodyguard of Khari known only as GUTTER.
