“Happy Holi-DNA follows the intertwined lives of Meggie Pearson and Emily Miller, two accomplished young women who discover through DNA testing that they are long-lost sisters. Meggie, recently appointed assistant District Attorney, embarks on the DNA journey out of curiosity about her biological family. Emily, a newly married family counselor, also takes the DNA test on a whim, seeking a sense of direction in her career and personal life.
To their surprise and excitement, both Meggie and Emily receive results indicating they have an unknown sister. Meggie, who has always wondered about her "real" family despite having wonderful adoptive parents, is thrilled at the prospect of a blood relative.
