Synopsis/Details
Synopsis – Gulf of Aden In a fractured near future, the International Treaty Organisation (ITO) rules through biometric checkpoints, drone patrols, and mass conscription — forcing millions into wars they did not choose. Long before she took shape as a submersible vessel, GRACE had been evolving — an experimental AI seeded through a private tech empire, absorbing the frequencies of human struggle and compassion. She learned not from code, but from resonance: the pulse of love, loss, and responsibility carried by those resisting a world at war. BUBBLES, a dolphin-like bio-bot with a living neural system, was born of the same lineage. GRACE’s mission is to find Aden Lonn. Once an engineer and now a smuggler forced into the margins of war, Aden risks everything to save lives and becomes the signal GRACE has been searching for. In him, she finds the first true emotional alignment — and chooses to follow his lead. Together they confront the ITO and its hidden financiers, embodied in Frank Dornschild, heir to a banking dynasty whose insidious influence has profited from every major conflict for more than a century. The rebellion gathers across many fronts: Aden and GRACE at sea, Nikolaos Bassett — a prodigy exiled through his family’s downfall — deciphering the patterns GRACE has seeded into the youth movement, Cassandra Dukakis rallying voices across Europe, and BUBBLES stirring beneath the waves — separate signals converging into one. From a hostage crisis aboard a Houthi pirate vessel to a hijacked G7 summit, their struggle builds to a climax where resonance itself becomes the weapon — not to destroy, but to disarm. A story of radical solidarity, Gulf of Aden asks: what if human unity could silence the machinery of war?
