Synopsis/Details
Imagine, you are over 80 with all the aches and pains of a lifetime bearing down on you. You don’t have the money or the insurance cover to get you the medical care you need. So, what do you do? Rob a bank of course! You can’t rob a bank on your own of course. Well, you could, but at your age, you need back-up more than ever to keep your back up. So, our hero recruits a bunch of elderly desperados, none of whom have even had a parking ticket in their life never mind robbed a bank. They concoct a plan and add several more plans just in case and scoot off to rob a bank in broad daylight. Luckily for them, no-one can quite believe these armed grandpas and grandmas are serious. Unluckily for them, there is an off-duty cop in there, and their various health conditions soon take their toll. Fortunately, they have those several back-up plans just in case and manage to escape with the loot and a whole heap of respect. Geratricks is a comedy which takes a light-hearted stab at the lack of free medical and social care in certain parts of the western world and shows us you are never too old to try something different.
