Synopsis/Details

A group of teenagers spend a weekend at an isolated lakeside house, where they encounter a hidden section of forest that has been imperfectly replicated by a failed government experiment.

When one of them unknowingly enters the affected area, the anomaly activates—triggering a psychological collapse driven by each victim’s deepest fears. As paranoia spreads and reality begins to fracture, the group realizes the threat is not a creature, but a phenomenon that copies space without understanding time.

Tim, the autistic younger brother of one of the teens, is the only one able to perceive the inconsistencies and resist its effects. With his help, the remaining survivors uncover the truth behind the abandoned experiment—Project STILLWOOD—and attempt to contain the anomaly before it fully overtakes their environment.

They manage to slow its expansion.

But the phenomenon is still active—and no longer confined to one location.

The Writer: Ferenc Berki

I’m a Europe-based writer creating metaphysical sci-fi and atmospheric horror driven by psychological depth and existential themes. My stories explore identity, consciousness, and the fragile boundary between reality and the unknown. Alongside speculative fiction, I write LGBTQ+ narratives that focus on authentic human connection, transformation, and emotional truth — often blending genre storytelling with intimate character journeys. With a background in visual art and performance, my writing leans cinematic, immersive, and emotionally intense. I’m drawn to bold concepts, haunting imagery, and stories that challenge perception while remaining deeply human. All screenplays presented on this… Go to bio
