Synopsis/Details

Rory, a brilliant but painfully shy computer science student, spends most of his days secretly admiring Declan—the calm, handsome coding prodigy who sits across the lecture hall. With the help of his confident and mischievous best friend, Ben, Rory attempts and hilariously fails to strike up a conversation or make a move.

One night in the coding lab, Declan unexpectedly steps in to help Rory debug a stubborn program, breaking the ice between them. Their connection grows quickly, and during a walk across campus, Rory finally blurts out his feelings, only to discover Declan feels the same way.

As the two navigate their first date at a ramen bar, Rory’s anxious energy melts into genuine excitement as he learns that Declan not only likes him, but appreciates his passion, quirks, and awkward charm. Their night ends with a heartfelt confession, a few shy-but-electric kisses, and the official start of their relationship.

Rory returns home beaming, grateful for Ben’s encouragement and amazed that—after all his fears—love turned out to be something that finally compiled perfectly.
