Synopsis/Details
Gabby and Alex, both disillusioned by their past romantic experiences, resort to pretending to be devout Christians to exploit the dating pool on a Christian dating site. Gabby, a beautiful yet cynical woman, and Alex, a handsome lawyer with a similarly skeptical view of love, meet on this platform, each unaware of the other's true intentions.
Despite their initial deceit, genuine feelings begin to develop between them as they navigate the quirks and challenges of their budding relationship. Both Gabby and Alex find themselves unexpectedly drawn to each other, discovering common ground and emotional depth that transcend their fabricated identities.
The story reaches its climax when Gabby, on the verge of moving back to New York, is about to direct a senior citizen play. Alex, realizing the depth of his feelings for her, races against time to reach the venue and prevent her departure. In a heartfelt and dramatic moment, Alex interrupts the play to publicly apologize and confess his love for Gabby, hoping to convince her to stay.
Ultimately, "Christian & Single" is a humorous and heartwarming tale of two people who, despite their cynical exteriors and deceptive beginnings, find authentic love and connection, proving that sometimes, we get exactly what we deserve — each other.
