The general writing of the pilot script feels pretty good. It possesses a fresh, contemporary energy and demonstrates nice visual flairs throughout, that’ll most definitely look great on a 4K TV. The central mystery has a compelling hook which grabs the reader’s attention and investment right from the start. I liked the main character, Mel. He comes across as complex, distinct, and offers a unique, modern twist on the traditional noir detective archetype. On top of that, the world-building successfully merges classic corruption elements with newer tech, creating a setting which feels both grounded and cinematic. The dialogue reads generally sharp and character-appropriate, and the plot progresses logically from the choices the characters make. There's also a solid balance between established genre conventions and a distinct, original authorial voice.
