Synopsis/Details

A DEAD MAN’S GAME – SYNOPSIS

When wealthy businessman Richard Holden dies, his legacy doesn’t end with his will.
It begins a game.

Shortly after his funeral, Richard’s former associate Vincent Carlyle is found murdered in his mansion. The only clue left behind is a framed charity gala photo showing five powerful men, one of them marked with a red X. As more of Richard’s associates begin turning up dead, it becomes clear the killings are part of a calculated pattern.

Detective Harper, a quiet and relentless investigator, takes on the case. The deeper he digs, the more he realizes these murders aren’t random. Someone is following a plan designed long before Richard’s death.

At the center of the storm is Miranda Holden, Richard’s elegant and controlling widow. When she learns that twenty million dollars from her husband’s estate was secretly given to an anonymous beneficiary, her grief turns into obsession. Determined to reclaim what she believes is hers, Miranda orders her bodyguard and secret lover, Dylan, to investigate anyone connected to the missing money.

Dylan’s search leads him to Stephanie Wilson, a single mother who recently inherited enough money to open a coffee shop and buy a new home. As Dylan grows closer to Stephanie and her young son, his role in Miranda’s plan becomes complicated. When Dylan suddenly disappears, suspicion spreads, and Harper begins to close in.

As the red X’s continue to appear on the gala photo, Harper uncovers a chilling truth: Richard Holden didn’t just leave behind money. He left behind a game. A carefully constructed posthumous revenge against the people who wronged him in life.

With Miranda tightening her grip, Stephanie unknowingly caught in the crossfire, and the final targets still alive, Harper races to uncover who is really pulling the strings before the last move is made.

In A Dead Man's Game, power, obsession, and control collide in a deadly contest where even the dead can still win.
