Hi there. I apologize if this has been brought up before.
When I get a script read request, I get an automated email notification.
But when a member messages me...I don't. Should I be getting one? Or does the system not default email notify you about messages?
The reason I bring it up is because a member messaged me about 5 days ago....but there was no email notification...so I didn't realize I had a message.
Granted, I could have logged into my account once a day to check...or just stayed logged in and visited the site once a day, but it didn't occur to me.
Anyway, I replied to the message...but I don't know if that member got an email notification or so forth.
The main reason I bring it up is because that same member has downloaded my script four times and it occurred to me they were doing it probably as a signal to me to log into my account to see I had a message here.
I apologize if I used the most roundabout possible way to describe this situation. Hahaha
Message email notifications are set when you go to your profile page and click edit. There's a few options to control what's sent through. I just checked, and it's set not to send notifications by default, so thanks for the heads up on this. It must have changed accidentally during the recent development work.
